More July Updates...

Hi gang! I've been working on some things with the website that I've been wanting to do since its inception...and even long before that. To begin, I am the sole entity of Luscious Playthings. Everything is done with a DIY, hands-on approach by yours truly. There are some areas I lack skill in, like photography, website tech, and marketing, so bear with me as I learn how to do these things better.

I've known my pictures aren't great, and most are older ones taken with a lower MP camera. But, they were decent enough for Etsy at the time, especially since most customers view them on a small mobile screen. I'll be updating these photos with much nicer high res ones, I just have soooo many products and variations that it's going to take some time.

Also, when I imported all of my Etsy listings over to the Shopify website/store they presented in various sizes and were not in any order. As I replace the photos with better ones, I'll get the thumbnail sizing all uniform so it looks as it should. I'm learning how to do these things myself so I don't have to rely on somebody else when I need to edit or add new products. I DID learn how to group the products by style and add subcategories to the main menu recently, so the pieces will be much easier to find with the new expanded menu 😁

In my recent editing of the listings, I discovered that some were missing. This is because Etsy had deactivated a handful of my listings when the sex toy ban went into effect, so the deactivated ones weren't included in the migration of them to Shopify. I'm going through all of these and adding them manually to fill the gaps. Also, there are some products that I didn't end up making or listing all the sizes available so I'll be completing those as well. If you'd like a specific size or variation of an item and don't see it, please ask!

On the marketing end, this is new to me as well and I'm learning as I go. In the past I've worked with distributors or Etsy who handled this part for me...I was just the production segment. The nature of my products excludes me from normal advertising, so I have to rely on strategic metadata, social media (not a fan), and word of mouth. That's where YOU come in. I've had LOTS of customers who purchased based on referrals from others - either friends, reddit or blog mentions, or reviews within the shop. Your feedback and recommendations are super valuable and appreciated, so if you're happy with a purchase, please spread the word and take a moment to leave a review on the website. It REALLY helps me and gives other shoppers confidence in their decision to buy from us!

Thanks as always for your continued support! 💗💜
